Here is your opportunity to own a fully working and serviced Citizen Hisonic Tuning Fork watch from 1970s.  The Citizen Hisonic range used the Bulova Accutron 218 tuning fork movement under license.  The tuning fork watch was invented by Bulova in 1960 and boasted an accuracy of 1 second a day and this a decade before quartz came about.

The 218 was the evolution of the 214 and improvements were made, they also added a day date combination.

This Citizen Hisonic is from my own personal collection.  I do have quite a few of these so this one rarely gets wrist time so I figure it’s time to move it on for someone else to enjoy.

You get a fully serviced and working watch that boasts the 360 beats per second smooth tick second hand and the reassuring hum sound coming from the tuning fork. Be aware that if you buy this not to leave it on a wooden surface in your bedroom at night as the hum amplifies and will keep you awake!

This one has a nice patina to the dial colour. Watch is nice and clean, still has the original crystal which has some marks but they are not really visible.  Bracelet is aftermarket and can be swapped out to a strap of your choosing if you prefer. Lugs are 18mm which is nice and standard. The Case has a lovely shape to it, almost cushion type on the wrist.
