{"product_id":"seiko-5-automatic-6319-508a-december-1979","title":"Seiko 5 Automatic 6319-508A  December 1979","description":"\u003cp\u003eThis is another Seiko from my personal collection that I have owned since 2017.  Its a nice example of a 70s Seiko with this one dating I believe from 1979.  I have just given the watch a fresh service and new set of gaskets so she is good to go again for another 10 years minimum.\u003cbr\u003eSelling this one to make room for more, I simply have too many right now but I do have a thing for these TV shaped watches and no doubt will miss this one...\u003cbr\u003eRuns on a 6319 movement which is a higher jewel count than the ever reliable 6309 which was used in so many watches back in the 70s including Seiko Turtles.  Its an automatic only movement so will only get power from the motion of the wrist and a shake in the morning if its stopped. \u003cbr\u003eHas a quickset day and date wheel which I show how to operate in the hands on video attached to this listing, please be sure to watch it.\u003cbr\u003eThis model has a nice chapter ring \/ square which draws you into the dial. Hands are painted white (from factory) to give you good visibility when reading the time. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNew Seiko crystal was fitted back in 2017 with no real visible marks on it to date.  Watch has had a full service and now crown and caseback gaskets so should keep it safe however please don't swim or wash with this watch on.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBracelet is not original to the watch but one I found at the time to fit the tiny 10mm (aprox) lug width.
