This is a great example of a 70s Seiko.  The watch is all original and has survived the last 52 years relatively unscathed. This is a popular model on this site but I usually have to swap out the facet crystal for a plain one as they are usually to scratched or chipped, replacements if you can find them are £50!

This watch has its original facet crystal that does have some marks on it but they are minor. The facets play with the light and add so much interest to the dial whilst remaining easy enough to read the time and date from.

I have stripped, inspected and serviced the movement and its now running well within accepted tolerances. New caseback and crown gaskets have been fitted although I do not recommend swimming or bathing with it.
Case & bracelet have been ultrasonically cleaned. Case has been lightly polished to bring back its shine. Bracelet I re-polished the centre links applied some more brushing to the outer links for contrast.  Looks superb.  Clasp is the original Actus one.
Movement is the 7019 which is a real workhorse movement that is very reliable. The more modern NH versions are based on this model. Its automatic only so there is no handwinding or hacking.  Day date complication can be hacked. Push the crown in for the day and push out to first position and turn anticlockwise to change the date. See video in listing for a demonstration.

Not often you find these in this condition and the blue faded dial is possibly the most eye catching in my opinion.
