Seiko 5 Automatic 6119-5440 July 1975 Rare Model

Get your flares out people!  This is a really interesting piece from Seiko that suggests anything goes with their designs!  This is a Seiko from 1975 that probably screams that decade very well.  Very unusual hexagonal case shape with an eye catching dial. Not for the faint of heart that's for sure.  I actually own this model in blue and with the original bracelet, its not one I wear every day but it always makes me smile when I see it in the watch box. 
You don't see these often online for sale so I am considering this one quite rare but it might just have meant it was made for a different market in the world. This one for instance has English and Arabic for the day wheel complication. Quickset it achieved by pushing the crown in for date and pushing in harder for day. 
Movement has been overhauled and completely serviced by my good self. The 6119 is one of my favourite movements and one I am always very confident in working on.
This is running well within tolerances (See video)  I am unable to show you the movement because its a closed case, the movement comes out of the front of the watch.  

The crystal is acrylic so you will always be able to polish out any light marks that may appear through use.  The crystal is flanged and fits over a rubber seal that runs around the outside of the dial well hidden under the case.  Crown has had a new gasket.  Its not recommended to be waterproof so no swimming or bathing, however light splashes / rain should be fine.
I have lightly re-brushed the case which still shows all of its age related use but it just needed a light refresh to make it look its best.  Please watch the watch in had video in this  listing to see the watch properly.
