Here is a watch from my own collection that I am making available for sale.  This is a 1976 Seiko using the 7025 movement which I believe was the last iteration of the 70## series, a very reliable movement that is simple yet affective.  It only offers a date complication which in many ways tidies up the dial somewhat. 
Watch is a oval shape which is quite unusual and then has very eye catching indices where all are placed horizontally onto the dial.  Something Seiko had done many times in the 70s. 

What is also interesting is the Seiko logo and information on the dial has been placed at 9 rather than under the 12.  It just makes for a bit more interest.

Movement has had a full and comprehensive service and new gaskets have been fitted to the caseback and the crown.  The crystal is acrylic and is a flanged crystal held in by a ring inside the case.  The movement is running well, please refer to the timegrapher trace video in this listing. 
I have done nothing cosmetically to the case on this one, its purely as I found it although I have fitted a new 18mm leather strap for the new owner. 
Dial is grey in colour.
Reason for selling is I just have too many Seiko and I am continually adding to the collection so some have to go to make space for new arrivals.

The first thing I did was change the band

The first thing I did was change the band. Much too big, but I have small wrists. I then set the watch by WWV, then waited. And waited. And waited! It was nearly two weeks before the time error was big enough to bother me! Never had a watch this accurate before. The watch looks and feels good on the wristsnd it’s nice to know it’s “made in America”
