A very honest example of a vintage Seiko at the end of the 70s. This one is a larger size case of 40mm which is nicer for many in this day and end.

This has a lovely grey dial with a radial pattern that plays with the light and adds interest. Sword hands have black pinstriping which match with the applied indices. This model is the SS version which has a higher 23 jewel count in the movement. The movement is a 6106, my personal favorite Seiko 3 hander movement.  Offers hacking but no hand winding, this will only get power by motion of your wrist.  Day Date complication with both English and Kanji.  Please see the video in this listing to show how to quickset this.
I have given the watch a full and comprehensive service and fitted new crystal, caseback and crown gaskets. I still will not recommend swimming or bathing with a vintage watch however.

Watch is running well within tolerance and should offer years of further timekeeping.
I have re-brushed the circular pattern over the case lugs and sides, lightly polished the sides and bezel.  It has improved the look but does not hide its history.
Comes with the original bracelet which is a funky 70s design but quite loose on the links by design in my opinion. (see video in this listing)  I will also supply this watch with a 19mm black leather strap as an alternative.  It fits my 7" /18cm wrist with one hole left on the clasp ladder so if you need more room then consider a bracelet extender also listed on the site.
